In the event of inclement weather that prevents NC FTC State Championship from taking place as scheduled, we will move to a remote tournament format. All details regarding inclement weather will be posted on the website and will be emailed to all coaches.

COVID 19 PROCEDURES
COVID precautions will be enforced. All events will follow all guidelines set in place by the Guilford County as a baseline for safety precautions AND those required of events associated with FIRST and North Carolina A&T state University. The current restrictions are available at https://www.guilfordcountync.gov/our-county/human-services/health-department/coronavirus-covid-19-info/covid-19-and-social-gatherings .

PHOTO IDENTIFICATION IS REQUIRED FOR EVERYONE (teams, coaches, volunteers, spectators and children).
Photo Identification should include a picture of the person and their name. You can use a Drivers License, DMV issued ID, School ID, or passport. We know this may be an inconvenience for some teams and spectators. Please plan ahead and prepare accordingly.

Due to precautions in place regarding COVID-19, there are a few things that are different from normal in-person events. Please observe the following rules:

DIGITAL CHECK-IN
Coaches will receive a link via email on Friday, February 18, 2022 for Digital Check-in. A response is required.
Digital check-in will require the first and last names of all team members, coaches/mentors, and spectators.
SPECTATOR POLICY
Teams participating in-person robot runs may have up to 15 guests (spectators) at the tournament. This includes parents and siblings. Please wait to submit the form until you know for sure who your guests will be.

OUTSIDE FOOD RESTRICTIONS
As a major event venue, the Corbett Sports Center has a contract for concessions and food sales with one vendor (similar to the Greensboro Coliseum and other event and sporting venues). As a courtesy to FIRST Tech Challenge and the N.C. A&T College of Engineering, the University will allow teams to bring in basic snacks and bag lunches (from home) to consume in the pit area.
HOWEVER, FOOD PURCHASED FROM A RESTAURANT OR CATERER (catering, take out AND fast food of any kind) is PROHIBITED in the building. Please communicate this rule to your team members and spectators and respect the policy as it stands. This means NO pizza boxes, Subway, McDonalds, Olive Garden, etc. If your team would like to order from an outside entity, you may do so by consuming the meal OUTSIDE of the building. Teams that choose to eat outside, must CLEAN UP promptly after finishing their meal.

- Please do not bring any team members or coaches that have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days and/or are experiencing COVID-19 like symptoms. This is for the health and safety of everyone attending, participating and volunteering.
- Only Teams and Coaches will be permitted in the Pit Area. No parents, siblings or guests.
- All hallways must remain clear. Teams should consider the pit area or outdoor space as their gathering area.
- Spectators, parents and siblings may sit in the stands and are not permitted on the floor in the competition area.

- All guest names must be entered in to the digital check-in form on the Friday before in-person robot run day, deadline 6:00pm.
- Spectators access will begin at 9:00am.
- Upon arrival at the venue, guests will be required to complete the COVID-19 VERIFICATION, wear a mask, and wear the provided wristband showing they have been granted access.
- All guests will be required to a mask at all times, regardless of vaccination, medical status or religious beliefs. Those that do not comply will be asked to exit the facility.
