Introducing the North Carolina FIRST® Tech Challenge REBOOT! Presented by the NC FIRST® Tech Challenge Planning Committee.
Our last two seasons of fully virtual and hybrid tournaments are not the norm for FIRST® Tech Challenge events. As we navigate towards a fully IN-PERSON 2022-2023 season, we understand that many coaches are in need of deeper of level assistance as you prepare to engage with your teams this school year.
REBOOT is a Rookie Coach Training Workshop that will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. This full day training session is a great opportunity for aspiring coaches, first year rookie coaches, and second and third year coaches to gain a detailed introduction to the basics of running a NC FIRST® Tech Challenge team during a traditional season. We invite you to join us as we spend a full day reviewing the basics of starting, funding and running a NC FTC® team. The day will include detailed training workshops, networking with other coaches, and direct access to the NC FTC® Planning Committee to answer any questions you may have. Whether you are on the fence about starting a team, have already formed your 1st team and need guidance on how to get started, or are a 2nd or 3rd year coach that needs additional guidance, we encourage you to join us!
Note: If you are a coach of a rookie team, we strongly encourage attending this workshop BEFORE full registering your team. We will be discussing funding opportunities in the form of team grants, many of which are not available if your team is already registered.
*This is a coach only event. Students and parents are not permitted to attend.
**This is a fully in-person workshop in Greensboro, NC. We will not be live streaming this event for virtual attendance. All sessions will be recorded and will be available on the ncfllandftc.com website for free viewing in August.
